Reflecting on Honduras

As I finish up the last days of my residency, I am spending some time reflecting on these last three years.

Our trip to Honduras is at the top of my highlight reel.

I experienced global medicine for the first time, helped deliver care to remote villages and learned so much about what health and wellness means in developing countries and in our own.

Honduras is an amazingly beautiful place with staggering needs.

It was an eye-opening, enriching, humbling experience that I would do again in a heartbeat!
